Elspeth McLean-Wile - Chair
Elspeth McLean-Wile is a local business owner who has volunteered in Lunenburg County for more than 30 years. She is passionate about seeing rural communities remain vibrant and exciting places to live.

David Outhouse
David Outhouse is the Executive Director of Bonnie Lea Farm and provides sage advice, and secretarial support to the Board of Directors.  He serves as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors.

Ardythe Wildsmith
Ardythe Wildsmith moved from Halifax to Lunenburg County in 1995 after a 25 year career in the health care sector. She ran a successful Bed and Breakfast for the next 10 years welcoming people from all over the globe. A firm belief in our constitutional rights and freedoms is her guiding light in turbulent times.

Larry Rosborough
Larry Rosborough retired from Michelin after 29 years of service in two plants in Nova Scotia. He now is the president of an Atlantic Canada consulting firm. Larry has volunteered for many organizations in the past, including 20 plus years as a volunteer firefighter. He and his family moved to Lunenburg County in 2000 and decided to stay here upon retirement.

Madelyn Bowers
Madelyn Bowers is a life long resident of Lunenburg County, with three short times away for school or work. She is a business owner and a volunteer with several community groups including the volunteer editor of New Germany Connections newsletter.

Belinda Josephson
Belinda Josephson was born and raised in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. She graduated from St. Mary's University M.A. in 1995 and worked for 35 years in education both in NS and Manitoba. Her education roles held include Primary-College levels as Teacher, Administrator and School Counsellor. She is a Board member of many local agencies in Lunenburg County.

Patrick Henry
Patrick Henry retired from the role of Chief Information Officer at LaHave River Credit Union in 2022. He has lived in the south shore since 2007 and has volunteered extensively with Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia and with his local Volunteer Fire Department. Patrick is an avid explorer and enjoys hiking, paddling, and mountain biking throughout the South Shore.

Bernice Williams
Bernice Williams is an award-winning entrepreneur, facilitator, and founder of Intentional Connection and HIVE Connections Publishing, where she empowers entrepreneurs and amplifies underrepresented voices through collaboration and storytelling. Known as the “Business Pollinator,” Bernice helps businesses and organizations get unstuck, foster connections, and achieve their goals through creativity and community-building. With a passion for empowering women and creating meaningful change, Bernice combines decades of expertise in training, facilitation, and storytelling to inspire transformation.
